π Announcing Salesforce Simplified v2.2.9: Event Graph Search, Open Links Presets, Deep Field Matching & Unified AI
We’re excited to announce the release of Salesforce Simplified v2.2.9!
This major update introduces powerful visual discovery capabilities to the Event Graph, ready-to-use 1-click Open Links presets, expanded AI support through OpenRouter and on-device Google Gemini Nano, and improved integration health monitoring with a clean, CORS-free browser console experience.
Here’s a complete walkthrough of what’s new in v2.2.9.
π·️ Event Graph: Search Tags, Multi-Color Highlighting & Deep Field Matching
The Event Graph helps visualize how records, automations, and transactions are connected across your Salesforce org. With v2.2.9, navigating complex event chains is faster, more intuitive, and more powerful.
π Custom Search Tags
You can now add multiple search tags directly from the Event Graph toolbar, such as:
searchTag1 · searchTag2 · searchTag3
This makes it easier to search for multiple values simultaneously and quickly identify relevant records and events.
π¨ 8-Color Dynamic Tag Palette
Each search tag is automatically assigned a distinct, high-contrast color from our curated palette:
Amber · Purple · Teal · Pink · Sky · Emerald · Orange · Indigo
Matching nodes dynamically glow with their assigned tag color and display inline match badges, making it easy to see exactly why a node matched your search.
π¬ Deep Field & Related Record Matching
Search tags now go far beyond event names.
The matcher recursively examines fields and values across related records, including:
- Standard and custom fields
- Status and picklist values
- Dates and timestamps
- Record IDs
- Lookup and relationship references
- Field-change mutations (
from→to) - Input and output payloads
This provides much deeper visibility when investigating complex record and automation activity.
π΅ Clear Selected Record Highlighting
The active or searched root record is now visually distinct throughout the Event Graph.
Selected records are highlighted with:
- Luminous royal-blue borders
- An elevated glow effect
- A clear SELECTED RECORD badge
- Consistent highlighting across both graph and timeline views
π Synchronized Recent Traces
Quickly move between recently searched records using 1-click history chips.
Your search input and graph root remain synchronized, making it much easier to switch between investigations without losing context.
π Open Links: 1-Click Presets & Dynamic Token Engine
Salesforce components such as OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Flow Builder versions, and Apex security pages often require complex URLs that can vary by component type, namespace, and Salesforce release.
The Open Links manager now includes pre-configured, ready-to-use presets that let you open supported records directly in their native Salesforce setup or designer experience.
⚡ Pre-Configured Presets
Available presets include:
- Apex Class Security — Open the profile and permission set security editor directly.
- OmniProcess Designer — Quickly access OmniScript and Integration Procedure designers.
- DataRaptor / Data Transform — Open mappings directly in the DataRaptor designer.
- Profile: View Users — Jump directly to users assigned to a specific profile.
- Flow Builder — Open Flow definitions directly in Flow Builder.
- Object Manager — Navigate directly to an object's Fields & Relationships setup.
𧩠Dynamic Placeholders
Presets support dynamic tokens including:
{id}— Record ID{name}— Record or Developer Name{ns}— Automatically detected managed-package namespace prefix- Custom field tokens — Use values from additional record fields
This makes presets reusable across different records and org configurations.
π️ Interactive Preset Cards
Presets are now displayed in a clean, easy-to-browse grid.
Simply select Use Preset to automatically populate the URL template form and get started immediately.
π€ Unified AI Studio & Multi-Source Incident Forensics
We’ve significantly expanded the built-in AI capabilities in v2.2.9 with additional providers, privacy-first local execution, and deeper incident analysis.
π OpenRouter Integration

- Meta Llama 3.1
- Mistral
- DeepSeek
This gives you more flexibility when choosing the AI model that best fits your workflow.
π On-Device Google Gemini Nano
You can now run AI prompts 100% locally on your machine using Chrome’s built-in Prompt API and Google Gemini Nano.
Benefits include:
- No network latency
- Local execution
- Enhanced data confidentiality
- No need to send prompt data to an external AI provider
π Simplified Key & Model Management
AI provider cards now provide a streamlined configuration experience with:
- Inline model selection
- Direct 1-click token creation links
- Instant connection testing
- Easier provider configuration
π΅️ Incident Detective AI Enrichment
Incident Detective can now synthesize information from multiple sources, including:
- Execution logs
- Setup audit trails
- Record mutation timelines
The result is a more comprehensive root-cause analysis, along with recommended remediation steps to help you move from investigation to resolution faster.
π Prompt API Compliance
Chrome's built-in AI integrations now enforce explicit outputLanguage safety attestations, ensuring prompts comply with the requirements of the Prompt API.
π CORS-Free API Integration Monitoring
Integration health monitoring has also received an important upgrade.
no-cors Fetch Probing
Outbound health checks for:
- Named Credentials
- External Data Sources
- Remote Site Settings
- CSP Trusted Sites
now use mode: 'no-cors' with automated timeout handling.
π§Ή Clean DevTools Console
Health checks can now measure endpoint availability and latency without filling your browser's DevTools console with unnecessary cross-origin CORS errors.
The result is a cleaner development and troubleshooting experience.
⚡ Performance, Stability & Polish
Alongside the major features, v2.2.9 includes several stability and performance improvements.
π§Ή Storage Sanitization
Angular's internal $$hashKey values are now stripped during storage serialization.
This permanently resolves ngRepeat:dupes errors affecting recent history and trace lists.
π Digest Stability
Stable reference caching through ssStableList has been implemented across dynamic tag arrays, providing smoother and more consistent rendering with less UI jitter.
π¨ Streamlined Favicon Management
Tab icon customization has been simplified for a cleaner and more maintainable experience.
